Ready to begin your OTR driving career? WEL Companies is hiring Entry-Level CDL-A Drivers looking to gain valuable over-the-road experience with a company known for driver development, consistent freight, and long-term career opportunities.

This position is designed for drivers who are ready to prove themselves on the road while building the skills and habits necessary to advance into higher-paying professional driving opportunities. You'll haul primarily long-distance freight with the support of an experienced operations team and a company committed to your success.

Pay & Compensation

• $200 per day base pay
• $30 per additional stop
• Paid detention time
• Vacation pay at your daily rate

Performance Incentives

Earn additional weekly incentives by meeting performance goals:

• $25 MPG Incentive
• $25 Motive Safety Incentive
• $25 Service Incentive

To qualify for incentives, drivers must maintain:

• 7.7+ MPG
• Motive Safety Score of 85 or higher
• 92% or higher service score

Freight & Schedule

• Primarily 500+ mile runs
• Low-stop freight
• OTR schedule
• Approximately 3 weeks out, followed by 5 days at home
• Consistent miles and dependable freight

What You'll Do

As an OTR Entry-Level Driver, you'll:

• Safely transport freight across regional and nationwide routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Deliver freight safely and on time
• Maintain accurate logs and DOT compliance
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Build the experience and professional habits needed to advance within WEL Companies
