About the Position

TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL A Driver to support local delivery operations for our client in New Bedford, Massachusetts. This dedicated, home-daily position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $27 per hour
Overtime: Available after 40 hours
Estimated weekly pay: $1,200
Attendance bonus: $250 quarterly
Schedule: Sunday through Thursday
Start time: 4:30 p.m.
Workdays: 9-hour days
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start date: August 11, 2026

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes.
Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
Perform required touch-freight handling tasks.
Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
No endorsements required.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
