About the Position
Our client is seeking a CDL A Driver for a local, no-touch driving position in the Akron, Ohio area. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers consistent Monday through Friday work, competitive hourly pay, and overtime eligibility.
Pay & Schedule
- $25 per hour
- Estimated weekly gross pay of $1,000
- Monday through Friday schedule
- 6:00 a.m. start time
- 40 hours per week
- Overtime pay after 40 hours
- Anticipated start date: September 1, 2026
- Temp-to-perm employment opportunity
Job Details
- Route type: Local
- Freight: No-touch freight
- Equipment: CDL A vehicle
- Handling: No-touch; driver is not responsible for loading or unloading freight
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a CDL A vehicle safely on local routes in the Akron, Ohio area.
- Transport no-touch freight according to schedule.
- Follow all applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Maintain a professional and safety-focused approach while representing our client.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL A.
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
