About the Position

TransForce is seeking experienced CDL A Truck Drivers for a local, no-touch position supporting our client’s operations in Taftville, Connecticut. Drivers will operate new equipment, transport furniture, and return home daily.

Pay & Schedule Details

Pay: $1,500–$1,600 per week, with earning potential of up to $80,000 per year
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays
Start time: 5:30 p.m.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Home time: Home daily
Employment type: Direct hire
Expected start date: August 11, 2026

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a 53-foot dry van on local routes
Transport furniture in accordance with DOT and safety standards
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
