About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL A Jockey and Shuttle Driver for a local delivery position in Florence, KY. This role offers $30.00 per hour, no-touch freight, home daily schedules, and the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
• Employment Type: Temp-to-perm
• Schedule: Various schedules available, including 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Schedule Rotation: 32 hours one week and 42 hours the following week
• Home Time: Home daily

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL A jockey and shuttle vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Move trailers using a single-axle hostler and hydraulic fifth wheel.
• Complete local shuttle and delivery assignments.
• Perform accurate backing and trailer positioning in the yard.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and transportation regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Valid CDL A license
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Strong backing skills
