About the Position

TransForce is seeking a qualified CDL A Truck Driver for a local driving position in Erlanger, Kentucky. This role involves hauling imported food products in a refrigerated truck. Drivers will work alongside a route leader to unload preloaded trucks and may have overnight routes at least once per week.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $300 per day
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start time: Between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
• Shift duration: 8 to 10 hours
• Hours per week: 40
• Employment type: Temp to perm
• Potential overnights: At least one overnight route per week

Job Details

• Route type: Local
• Freight: Imported foods from South America
• Equipment: Refrigerated truck with automatic transmission
• Handling: Heavy touch; trucks are preloaded, and drivers unload with assistance from a route leader
• Stops: Approximately 8 to 20 stops per trip

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A vehicle on local and occasional overnight routes.
• Transport imported food products in a refrigerated truck.
• Complete assigned routes and make scheduled deliveries.
• Unload freight with support from the route leader.
• Follow all applicable safety, DOT, and FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers and team members.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license.
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
