About the Position

We are seeking a professional CDL B Flatbed Driver for a local delivery position with a well-established lumber company. This role involves transporting lumber and related materials within approximately a one-hour radius, with drivers returning home daily.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $24 per hour
• Overtime available after 40 hours
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, first shift
• Typical hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Hours per week: 40
• Employment type: Long-term flex

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery
• Service area: Typically within a one-hour radius of Cincinnati
• Freight: Lumber, pallets, and crates
• Equipment: Automatic flatbed straight trucks
• Handling: Strapping and occasional tarping
• Freight handling: No-touch freight
• Home time: Return home daily

Key Responsibilities

• Transport lumber and related materials to designated delivery locations
• Ensure safe, timely, and accurate deliveries
• Secure loads properly using straps and other equipment
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Follow all applicable DOT regulations and company policies
• Operate equipment safely and responsibly

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL B
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Six months of flatbed experience preferred; training may be available for the right candidate
