About the Position

TransForce is seeking experienced CDL A Drivers for local deliveries in Kansas City, MO. This position offers $30 per hour, overtime after 40 hours, and daily home time. Drivers will transport clothing and household merchandise using automatic tractor-trailers. This is a heavy-touch freight position requiring physical unloading.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $30 per hour + OT after 40 hours

• Schedule: Monday-Saturday, full-time

• Start Times: Between 12 AM and 7 AM

• Home Time: Daily

• Scheduling: Weekly schedule provided the preceding Friday

Job Details

• Route Type: Local deliveries within a 400-mile radius of Kansas City, including St. Louis-area routes

• Equipment: Automatic 53-foot dry van

• Freight: Clothing and household merchandise

• Freight Handling: Heavy-touch, approximately 300-700 cases per load

• Unloading: Manually unload items weighing up to 70 lbs using hand trucks and conveyor belts

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A

• At least 9 months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience

• Ability to perform heavy physical unloading and lift up to 70 lbs

• Flexibility with early morning dispatch times

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
