As the trucking industry grew, the founding members of MTA realized the difficulty of keeping up with the regulations within the trucking industry. It was then that the MTA became the "eyes and ears" of its members. MTA now provides a wide range of member services, including federally-mandated drug and alcohol testing, licensing and title service, self-funded workers compensation programs, training, and education.
The North Dakota Motor Carriers Association (NDMCA) is a 501(c)6, membership based organization, first founded in 1934. As the leading education and advocacy organization for the transportation industry in North Dakota, NDMCA promotes and represents trucking interests on a state and federal level. The NDMCA provides crucial information on issues facing the industry as well as essential business services to our members. The NDMCA is led by 31 person Board of Directors, representative of the different segments of the trucking industry.
